Fliss is foxy

So Fliss is back with even more jazz. I decided to cheer the photo up (because she's been a little grumpy this morn) - she's has a good face to work with! Pretty kitty.

1. Party Fliss. My attempt of some funky pineapple glasses. You would never think I'm doing art A-level by looking at the state of those pineapples.
2. Flisspectacle. Square specs for cats; is your cat struggling to read the newspaper? Then buy the Flisspecs. Grey, fabulous and (slightly) lopsided!
3. Flissnobs. I couldn't help it. Even Fliss has snobs some times.. maybe a little curlier than the norm.
4. MY FAVOURITE! Fliss' nose is the perfect shape to be a toadstool. It'll be the front cover of my album. Ahhhh it's so cute. EEK!
5. Flissuperhero. Why not? Fliss is a master of disguise and fabulousness.

So this is me reporting with Fliss, about Fliss. She's currently lying like this..

... next to the radiator and looking evil.

Lazy.

This half term has been nothing but a lazy week. I've overslept, overeaten and just been a plum.

I don't want to count how many hours have been spent playing sims.

But I have started reading 'Great Expectations' AND started and finished 'The Fault in Our Stars'.
There may be a review to follow but if I'm honest, I don't think it's worth a review. It makes you a little teary and makes you laugh, but it was nothing special. Sorry John Green.

I've also been doing a lot of art work (10 A3 pages in my sketch book hehehe) and a lot of research into Marina Abramović; last night was spent crying whilst watching clips of 'The Artist is Present'. There's one clip which is particularly emotional - when her ex-husband, Ulay, sits opposite her. Well worth a watch if you love art and performance art. Abramović really is the Grandmother of performance art.

Please comment and I shall follow your blog. I would also appreciate a comment with any performance artists that you love!

First post!

This is gorgeous Flissles.

So I'm new to blogger, and even though I've been dabbling for a while with templates and layouts I just can't wait anymore and I just want to start writing posts!! I actually have no idea what the hell I'm doing but this is a start!

I'm Lilly and I'm a dramatic, noodley teen with a big mind and lots of views - which I'm ready to share with everyone!

This blog has two main characters - me and my gorgeous kitty Fliss - and she has many tales to share with you.

My aim is to simply prove that feminism isn't dead and that books are there to be read - not hidden away on a bookshelf.

I would appreciate any advice and I want blogs to follow so please leave a comment!!

Thank - you.
